AIM Services began helping friends more than 25 years. The Harbor, our first residential setting (CRS), located on the east side of St. Paul, opened it’s doors in the fall of 1998. We founded The Harbor with an organic philosophy of inclusion and community access. We intended The Harbor to be just that, a safe place to find refuge from the tumultuous storms of the greater sea of life. We wanted to always be a safe place where friends can return. A safe “Harbor”. While safely in harbor, we consistently found ways to help friends to set sail again, toward the horizon and their future.
Our IHS services, was founded in 2016. AIM was created with the ideal of walking alongside our friends-creating relationships based on friend’s personal goals and achievements. AIM’s philosophy of always putting the person first, began benefiting a greater audience. We grew intentionally and slowly to be certain everyone was treated as a person, not a system statistic. We weren’t maintaining people at their current status. We were assisting them to discover a happier life and a attainable a better future.
We believed that if we hired dedicated and caring staff, AIM would better help our friends. It worked! We treated our employees with care and respect, and they did same with our friends. Everybody was lifted to a better station in life.
AIM grew in size and reputation, and today, we are reaching some amazing milestones of our own. AIM recently opened two new CRS settings in Washington and Dakota County. We continue to create greater opportunities and community connections.
AIM is currently developing additional services, including family training/counseling, consulting services, and compliance assistance for providers.

Achieving individual milestones(AIM) is our primary focus. AIM walks alongside you to discover your hopes and dreams.
AIM believes you should be treated with the utmost respect-as a fellow citizen with the same rights as anyone else. Most importantly, you have the right to choose the people who support you, and be comfortable with them. We want you to look forward to your time with us!
It’s also your right not to be labeled. We don’t use disability labels or service jargon. We believe everyone should be “Dis-Labeled” and we address you by your chosen name and pronoun.
AIM partners with you, your family, your community, and your other providers. We want to be part of your team and fix our sights on your future goals.
